Questions Families Ask Us

Does choosing hospice mean giving up?
Not at all. Hospice means choosing comfort and quality time together. Care is centered on living each day as fully and comfortably as possible, with expert support surrounding your whole family.
How much does hospice care cost?
For eligible patients there is no cost. The Medicare hospice benefit pays for everything related to the hospice diagnosis, and Medi-Cal and most private plans are accepted as well. One call and we confirm exactly what applies to your situation.
How quickly can care begin?
Often the same day you reach out. Our team handles the physician orders and paperwork, and coordinates directly with your doctor and hospital so care can start without delay.
Can we keep our own doctor?
Yes. Your loved one's physician can stay involved and work together with our hospice medical director on the plan of care.
Where does care take place?
Wherever your loved one lives. Our teams visit private homes, assisted living communities, and board and care homes across Los Angeles County.
